Day 1: Arrival in Punta Arenas, Chile

      Arrival: Land at Punta Arenas Airport, the gateway to Patagonia.

      Activities:

o   Meet your guide and enjoy a scenic drive to Puerto Natales, a charming coastal town and the base for exploring Torres del Paine National Park.

o   Evening orientation session to review the trekking plan and prepare for the adventure.

o   Dinner featuring Patagonian specialties like roasted lamb and king crab.

      Accommodation: Cozy lodge in Puerto Natales.

 

Day 2: Torres del Paine National Park – The Adventure Begins

      Travel: Morning transfer to Torres del Paine National Park (1.5 hours).

      Activities:

o   Begin your trek with the iconic hike to the Base of the Towers, a challenging yet rewarding 8-hour round trip with stunning views of the granite spires.

o   Picnic lunch at the base with views of the turquoise glacial lake.

o   Descend back to the trailhead and transfer to a nearby eco-camp.

      Accommodation: Sustainable dome camp within the park.

 

Day 3: French Valley Trek – A Natural Amphitheater

      Travel: Early morning boat ride across Lake Pehoé to the trailhead.

      Activities:

o   Trek through the French Valley, one of the most picturesque sections of Torres del Paine.

o   Pass through lush forests, glacial streams, and dramatic rock formations.

o   Reach the viewpoint to witness a stunning panorama of hanging glaciers and jagged peaks.

o   Return to your eco-camp for the evening.

      Duration: 6-8 hours of trekking.

Day 4: Grey Glacier – Ice and Adventure

      Travel: Short transfer to the trailhead near Grey Lake.

      Activities:

o   Trek along the shores of Grey Lake, with views of floating icebergs and the massive Grey Glacier.

o   Option to extend the trek with a guided ice hike on the glacier or a kayaking excursion among the icebergs.

o   Enjoy a packed lunch with glacier views before returning to camp.

      Duration: 5-7 hours of trekking.

      Accommodation: Same eco-camp.

 

Day 5: Los Cuernos – Trekking the Heart of Torres del Paine

      Activities:

o   Trek along the Los Cuernos trail, a scenic route offering close-up views of the famous “Horns of Paine” and the crystalline Nordenskjöld Lake.

o   Pass through golden grasslands and enjoy wildlife sightings, such as guanacos and Andean condors.

o   Stop for a picnic lunch in a secluded area with panoramic views.

o   Reach your next campsite or refugio (mountain lodge) by evening.

      Duration: 6-7 hours of trekking.

      Accommodation: Refugio or camp in the park.

 

Day 6: Relaxation and Light Exploration

      Activities:

o   Enjoy a relaxed morning to recover from the trek. Options include:

  • A gentle hike to the Mirador Lago Sarmiento.

  • Wildlife-spotting walks to see guanacos, foxes, and bird species.

o   Afternoon at leisure in Puerto Natales or at the eco-camp, enjoying a massage or hot tub with views of the park.

Day 7: Departure from Patagonia

      Travel: Morning transfer to Punta Arenas for your flight home.

      Activities:

o   Optional stop at the Milodon Cave, a historic site featuring fascinating geological formations and ancient history.
